“Jackie Chan keeps on being a backbone with crowds, and ‘Railroad Tigers’ conveys what his fans love,” said Doris Pfardrescher, president and CEO of Well Go USA Entertainment. “The film is an activity stuffed hand to hand fighting comic drama that takes Chan back to his Drunken Master days.”
On Thursday, Chan was picked as one of the beneficiaries of the 2016 Governors Awards by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He will get a Honorary Oscar.
“In the wake of making his movie make a big appearance at eight years old, Chan carried his adolescence preparing with the Peking Opera to an unmistakable worldwide profession,” read the AMPAS official statement.
