Carrie was the debut novel by Stephen King and established his reputation as a master of horror. Like many novels by Stephen King, Carrie was filmed several times (E.g. in the TV-movie Carrie from the year 2002). Above all, the film version of Carrie – Satan’s youngest daughter dating back to 1976, when none other than Brian De Palma directed and thus helped the young John Travolta to a first breakthrough is famous. Carrie was then played by Sissy Spacek, is interpreted in the remake by Chloë Grace Moretz. Moretz has collaborated on a number of and horror, beginning with the Amityville Horror – a true story about let me in to dark shadows.
The reissue was staged by Carrie by Kimberly Peirce, who was known with a very different kind of horror film, the Oscar winning boys don’t cry.
